About

This 2 hour fundamentals of rolling class covers the basics of rolling. This class is great for individuals who have completed our outdoor lake lesson who are hoping to gain additional experience and confidence with the fundamentals of rolling. Rolling can take some time to master as it is a combination of physical movement and mental grit. Our instructors can provide individualized feedback to help you learn to roll. This class is not intended as a substitute for the outdoor Introduction to River Kayaking.

PREREQUISITES: Introduction to River Kayaking or private instruction

Offered Every other Saturday at the *Englewood Recreation Center


What is Included

  • We provide all the necessary equipment needed for the class. All you need to bring is a swimsuit and towel. Please bring a rash guard or other warm, non-cotton, layers that you can get wet if needed. This pool tends to run cold. Kayaking-specific nose plugs and goggles are helpful if you have them.
