Experiencing snow-white beaches and fairy-tale cottages from the seat of a bicycle is one of the most fun things to do while visiting Carmel-by-the-Sea. Our electric bike guided tour is a great way to see the beauty and charm of Carmel-by-the-Sea while learning the history and stories our iconic town has to offer.

You will ride from our bike shop in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea and explore cottages throughout Carmel. After passing several local historic sites, you will ride along the Carmel coastline via Scenic Drive, a one-way, 15-mile per hour road. You’ll pass landmarks such as the Tor House, Butterfly House, Carmel River State Beach, Clint Eastwood’s Mission Ranch, and the Carmel Mission, one of the most authentically restored Catholic mission churches in California. Our amazing tour guides will also take you to a few hidden gems throughout Carmel, including our town's very own miniature "Village of Fae" for Troll dolls. Yes, you heard that right!

Take lots of photos so you can share the beauty with your friends who couldn’t make it, and then cycle back to our shop.

The minimum for a non-private tour to operate is 4 people. If you reserve a tour date, but we have less than 4 people sign up for the tour, then we reserve the right to cancel the tour with a full refund, or convert the tour to a private guided tour (additional rates apply), or combine your booking with another at a different time and/or day, or convert the tour to a standard rental reservation (no tour guide, freedom of route and timing). As necessary, these options will be reviewed with the customer for their approval 24 hours before the reservation.

For parties of 1 or greater than 10, with dogs, children or anyone who can't pedal and need a throttle or need to be a ride-along passenger, or with any other special requests, please call to inquire. We will do our best to accommodate.
