Caribbean Chiliboats is a San Juan-based operator offering guided and self-guided waterbike experiences across Puerto Rico’s coastal waterways. Using stable, catamaran-style Chiliboats waterbikes, the company leads tours to La Parguera’s Los Cayos natural pools, Condado Lagoon, and the luminous Bioluminescent Bay in La Parguera. Tours include daytime sightseeing, family-friendly excursions, and illuminated night rides that simulate or reveal bioluminescence.
Safety and accessibility are emphasized: the catamaran-style platform provides stability for riders of all levels, and staff provide pre-ride orientation and basic instruction. Trips are suitable for beginners, families, and anyone seeking a low-impact, active way to explore marine environments around San Juan and La Parguera. The equipment is described as comfortable and designed to make pedaling and swimming transitions easy.
Environmental awareness guides the operation: tours highlight natural features such as turquoise pools, mangrove-fringed lagoons, and habitats where visitors might encounter marine life like sea turtles and manatees. Night tours use blue LED illumination to recreate bioluminescent glow or visit naturally glowing waters in designated bays.
