Eagle Beach, Aruba

Sun and Sea at Eagle Beach, Aruba

Eagle Beach is one of Aruba’s most celebrated coastal destinations, located on the island’s west coast. Known for its remarkable stretches of soft white sand and calm, clear turquoise waters, this beach stands out as an ideal spot for visitors seeking both relaxation and lively water activities. Away from Aruba’s busier tourist centers, Eagle Beach boasts a broad shore that is rarely crowded, providing ample room for visitors to enjoy privacy and peace.

One of the beach’s signature features is the Divi-Divi trees—naturally wind-shaped with their branches leaning consistently southwest—offering a striking, iconic image unique to this part of the world. The beach’s gentle waves make swimming safe and pleasurable, while the trade winds sweeping across the area create cooling breezes perfect for sunbathers. Eagle Beach also plays an important ecological role as a protected nesting ground for endangered sea turtles, including Loggerhead and Leatherback species, especially visible during the nesting season from spring through late summer.

Local amenities include free parking and a variety of watercraft rentals, such as Jet Skis, which add an exciting element to an otherwise tranquil environment. Dining options and shaded areas beneath palm trees or Divi-Divi trees provide comfortable spots to rest and enjoy spectacular Caribbean sunsets. Whether visitors prefer lounging on the shore or engaging with the natural marine surroundings, Eagle Beach offers an authentic Caribbean experience along Aruba’s sun-drenched coast.
