The park's landscape features rolling hills, mature forests predominantly composed of oak, maple, and tulip poplar, as well as wetlands and open fields. The park’s waterways, including Ridley Creek, provide habitat for various fish species and attract wildlife such as white-tailed deer, red foxes, and numerous bird species like woodpeckers and warblers. The scenic picnic areas along the creek are popular for family outings and social gatherings. Ridley Creek State Park also hosts educational programs focused on local flora and fauna, fostering environmental awareness.
