Lake Darling State Park is located near Brighton in Henry County, Iowa, centered around the 302-acre Lake Darling reservoir. The park covers over 1,200 acres and features a mix of forested areas, prairies, and wetlands that support diverse flora and fauna native to the region. Established in 1950, the park is named after Jay Norwood "Ding" Darling, a renowned conservationist.
