Located in Warwick, Rhode Island, Goddard Memorial State Park encompasses 489 acres of woodlands, fields, and waterfront along Narragansett Bay. The park was gifted to the state in 1927 by the Goddard family in memory of Robert Goddard, a noted war hero and philanthropist. It features a mix of open grassy areas, shady trails through hardwood forests, salt marsh edges, and scenic views of the bay. Visitors can enjoy a wide range of outdoor recreation including over 6 miles of multi-use trails suitable for hiking, running, and biking. The park also contains an 18-hole public golf course, picnic shelters, playgrounds, and a marina with boat launch facilities.
