Wilderness Landscape & Natural Heritage

Ecola State Park, located along the picturesque northern Oregon coast, stretches from Cannon Beach to Seaside and is renowned for its rugged cliffs, lush rainforest, and panoramic ocean views. Encompassing over 1,000 acres, the park offers a unique mix of temperate rainforest ecology and coastal oceanic vistas. Established in 1932, it has become a popular outdoor destination, known for its hiking trails, historical landmarks like the Tillamook Rock Lighthouse, and iconic landscapes such as Haystack Rock.
