Located approximately 10 miles west of Springfield, Illinois, Kickapoo State Park covers over 2,800 acres of forested hills, prairies, open meadows, and clear lakes, providing a broad range of outdoor activities. The park is named after the Kickapoo Native American tribe that once inhabited the region.
