Oahe Downstream Recreation Area is situated on the Missouri River just downstream from the Oahe Dam in central South Dakota. This recreation area provides visitors with access to the expansive Missouri River reservoir known as Lake Oahe, one of the largest man-made reservoirs in the United States.
