Reserva Natural Integral de Muniellos Adventures

Located in the Principality of Asturias in northern Spain, Reserva Natural Integral de Muniellos protects approximately 5,488 hectares of ancient oak forest within the Cantabrian Mountains. Established as a strict nature reserve, it preserves one of the best examples of temperate deciduous forests in Europe, dominated by the English oak (Quercus robur) alongside a host of broadleaf species. The reserve is a core protected area of the larger Muniellos Biosphere Reserve, recognized by UNESCO.
