Phu Ninh Nature Reserve is located in the mountainous region of Phu Tho Province, northern Vietnam, encompassing forested hills and the large Phu Ninh Lake, an artificial reservoir supporting complex freshwater habitats. Established in 1997, the reserve covers a mix of tropical evergreen and semi-evergreen forests that provide habitat for diverse flora and fauna, including endangered species like the Delacour's langur and the crested argus pheasant.
