Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve is a 204-acre protected old-growth forest located in Evansville, Indiana. This preserve features some of the largest trees in the state and is one of the few remaining old-growth forests in the Midwest. The terrain consists of a mature deciduous forest dominated by towering oak, hickory, and beech trees, providing habitat for a diverse range of bird species, mammals, and native plants.
