Located in the Region of Murcia, Sierra de Moratalla Natural Park is a vast natural space spanning approximately 42,000 hectares characterized by striking mountainous terrain composed primarily of limestone and dolomite. The park represents a significant ecological refuge in southeastern Spain due to its elevation ranges from around 400 to 1,500 meters above sea level, fostering a rich biodiversity of Mediterranean flora including wild pine forests, holm oaks, and matorral shrubland.
