Shawnee Mission Park is a 1,600-acre regional park located in Johnson County, Kansas, near the city of Shawnee. The park’s centerpiece is a 120-acre lake providing ample opportunities for fishing, boating, and paddle sports. The park’s diverse landscape includes woodlands, open grassy fields, and wetlands, supporting an array of wildlife such as white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, and many species of songbirds.
