Parc Régional Maskinongé encompasses approximately 175 square kilometers of protected natural environments, located about 30 kilometers northeast of Trois-Rivières. The park is characterized by mixed deciduous and coniferous forests, extensive wetlands, numerous lakes, and the Maskinongé River, which table the area's varied topography and rich biodiversity.
