Pajūris Regional Park, located along the Baltic Sea coast in Klaipėda County, Lithuania, protects approximately 16 kilometers of pristine seashore, sandy beaches, coastal dunes, and adjoining forests and wetlands. Established in 1992, the park encompasses diverse ecosystems including dynamic dune fields, beach meadows, and coastal pine forests, creating vital habitats for numerous plant and animal species, some of which are rare or protected. The park’s geography is dominated by dramatic shifting dunes and sandy beaches that attract both nature enthusiasts and beachgoers.
