Wilderness Landscape & Natural Heritage

Pacific Rim National Park Reserve is situated on the west coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, offering a stunning blend of rainforest, ocean, and beaches. The park reserve is divided into three main areas: Long Beach, the Broken Group Islands, and the West Coast Trail. Each area provides unique recreational activities and unspoiled beauty. Long Beach is famous for its expansive sandy shores and is popular for surfing and beachcombing. The Broken Group Islands are favored by kayakers for exploring the serene waters and abundant marine life. The West Coast Trail is a challenging backpacking route that traverses 75 kilometers of rugged terrain and offers unparalleled views of the dramatic coastline.
