Nature Park Učka is located in the northern Adriatic region of Croatia, spanning the Učka Mountain Range and part of the Ćićarija Mountain. The park's geographical diversity includes lush forests, dramatic cliffs, and karst formations, offering a unique habitat for a variety of flora and fauna. The park is notable for its primary peak, Vojak, which stands at 1,401 meters and offers panoramic views of Istria, the islands of the northern Adriatic, and the Velebit mountain range. The area's rich biodiversity includes several endemic species and is notable for its large population of birds of prey. Established in 1999 as a nature park, Učka provides numerous recreational opportunities such as hiking, bird watching, and mountain biking. The region's human history is evidenced by historical structures, including medieval castles and ancient village settlements. Its natural beauty, coupled with vibrant cultural heritage, makes it a captivating destination for ecotourists and adventurers alike.
