Located in Stevens County, Washington, Mount Dora Wildlife Area preserves a diverse landscape of forests, wetlands, and grasslands. The area plays an important role in conserving regional wildlife, including populations of deer, elk, black bear, and a wide variety of bird species. Historically, this land has been managed for both habitat preservation and compatible recreational uses such as hunting, wildlife observation, and photography.
