Hon Mun Marine Protected Area is located off the coast of Nha Trang, Vietnam, and spans approximately 160 square kilometers. It is renowned for its vibrant marine life and stunning coral reefs, making it an important site for marine biodiversity conservation in the region. The area is home to diverse species of corals, vividly colored fish, and other marine animals, some of which are endemic to the waters surrounding Vietnam. Diving and snorkeling are two of the key draws for visitors eager to explore the underwater paradise. Established in the year 2001, Hon Mun made history as the first marine protected area in Vietnam.
