Wilderness Landscape & Natural Heritage

Kerinci Seblat National Park is the largest national park on the island of Sumatra, encompassing over 3.4 million acres. Nestled along the volcanic backbone of the Barisan mountain range, the park is renowned for its rich biodiversity and stunning landscapes. The park is home to the critically endangered Sumatran tiger, as well as a host of other unique species, such as the Sumatran rhinoceros, Malayan tapir, and various bird species. Visitors can explore its dense rainforests, which contain some of the oldest and tallest trees on earth.
