Jura Vaudois Nature Reserve is located in the northwestern part of the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland, within the Jura mountain range. It protects an area characterized by rugged limestone ridges, steep cliffs, calcareous plateaus, and dense mixed forests dominated by beech and fir. This reserve plays an essential ecological role conserving rare plant species and habitats for wildlife such as chamois, roe deer, and numerous bird species including black woodpeckers and boreal owls.
