Huatulco National Park stretches across over 28,400 acres along the stunning coastline of Oaxaca, Mexico. This park is a blend of pristine beaches, rocky shores, and rich marine and terrestrial ecosystems. It encompasses terrains from sea level to mountainous areas, fostering a wide range of biodiversity. The park houses over 500 species of plants, numerous bird species, and a variety of reptiles and mammals, including several endangered species. The park was established in 1998, motivated by a vision to protect the region's rich flora and fauna and the coastal and marine environments. Outdoor enthusiasts are drawn to its myriad activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, and hiking, complemented by the chance to observe humpback whales offshore or seek out hidden waterfalls in the jungle.
