Children's Eternal Rainforest in Costa Rica covers approximately 54,000 acres of pristine forest and diverse habitats. Established by funds raised by children in over 44 countries, the reserve is dedicated to conservation and education. Its varying elevations offer a rich array of ecosystems, from lowland rainforests to cloud forests, making it home to countless species of flora and fauna, including jaguars, howler monkeys, and over 425 species of birds. The reserve beckons ecotourists with its network of trails, some leading to waterfalls and scenic viewpoints. Managed by the non-profit Monteverde Conservation League, the rainforest plays a critical role in protecting Costa Rica's natural heritage and supporting global biodiversity.
