Located on 560 acres of forest, prairie, and river bluff land in southeastern Minnesota near Hastings, Carpenter Nature Center is a regional natural area dedicated to outdoor education and nature experiences. The center is situated along the Mississippi River, providing scenic overlooks and rich ecological variety with maple-basswood forests, oak savannas, and native prairies.
