Biogradska Gora National Park, located in northeastern Montenegro, covers an area of 5,650 hectares, including magnificent virgin forest, glacial lakes, and high mountain ridges. Established in 1952, the park is centered around Biogradska Gora rainforest, which is home to an incredible diversity of plant and animal life. The park is famed for its ancient trees, some of which are over 500 years old and reach heights of up to 60 meters. The Biogradsko Lake is the heart of the park and a popular spot for kayaking and fishing. From bird watching to exploring diverse flora, the park offers ample opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts.
