Lijiang National Park

Lijiang National Park is located in the northwestern part of Yunnan Province, centered around the city of Lijiang. The park covers a wide range of landscapes from alpine mountains and deep river valleys to ancient forests and alpine meadows. The park is famous for including parts of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (Yulong Xueshan), which rises over 5,500 meters and offers spectacular views and challenging mountaineering opportunities. Ecologically, the park supports diverse flora and fauna, including rare plants such as rhododendrons and endangered wildlife like the Yunnan snub-nosed monkey in surrounding protected areas.
