Guayabo National Monument, located in the Turrialba region of Costa Rica, is the country's foremost archaeological park and the only pre-Columbian site open to the public. Covering an area of protected rainforest and ancient ruins, this site dates back to approximately 1000 BCE to 1400 CE, representing one of the oldest and most significant indigenous settlements in Costa Rica.
