South Yorkshire Forest is an ambitious environmental project focused on restoring and expanding woodland areas across the South Yorkshire region of England, covering parts of Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, and Sheffield. The Forest was established as part of a larger UK National Forest strategy to create new habitats, increase biodiversity, and promote sustainable land use after decades of industrial activity.
