Capitol State Forest, located in the western region of Washington State near the cities of Olympia and Aberdeen, spans approximately 110,000 acres. This region is characterized by its dense forest cover and diverse flora and fauna, offering a habitat for species such as deer, elk, and numerous bird species. The area is deeply rooted in history, traditionally used by indigenous peoples, and later managed for timber production.
