The Ava Ranger District of Mark Twain National Forest is located in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks, characterized by its rolling hills, dense forests, and clear streams. With an expanse of 287,701 acres, it is a gateway to exploring diverse habitats that range from oak-hickory forests to open glades and riparian corridors.
