The Geopark is renowned for its unique karst geology, featuring extensive limestone landscapes, caves, and sinkholes, including the famous Marble Arch Caves system which attracts visitors worldwide. The area is dominated by Drumlin hills, blanket bogs, and pristine lakes, creating diverse habitats that support a rich variety of flora and fauna including rare orchids, hen harriers, and otters.
