Experience an exhilarating day of adventure with ziplining through majestic trees and navigating thrilling whitewater rapids on the South Fork of the American River. Soar high above the landscape and tackle challenging ropes courses before plunging into the excitement of Class II and III rapids in a stunning granite gorge.

Soar through the air on the only zipline on the South Fork of the American River! As you glide by noble Ponderosa Pines and Valley Oaks, you catch glimpses of the river in between the towering trees. Then, challenge yourself with a high ropes experience and learn what you are capable of. Zip lining and ropes add not only a thrill but a new perspective.
The Gorge Run begins with mellow Class II rapids and builds to a thrilling crescendo of whitewater. This enables paddlers to hone their paddling skills and grow accustomed to being on the river. As the trip continues the river canyon narrows into the granite-walled ‘Gorge’ where guests will experience a series of continuous Class III rapids including Fowler’s Rock, Satan’s Cesspool , Satan’s Sister, Scissors, Elevator Shaft, Hospital Bar, and Recovery Room!
Closed toed shoes required. Minimum age is 8 years old. Must be between 60-240 lbs to participate in the zipline and ropes activities.
Sturdy closed-toe shoes with good grip are essential for both ziplines and rafting sections to keep your footing safe and comfortable.
Expect to get wet during the rafting portion; waterproof bags or cases can protect your valuables.
Carry a refillable water bottle—physical activity combined with the California sun can dehydrate you quickly.
