You step onto a wooden platform and the forest changes — trunks loom like columns, wind pushes through pine needles, and the distant sweep of the Heysen Trail folds into the horizon. At TreeClimb Kuitpo Forest the view is immediate: a patchwork of plantation pines sliced by bright tracks, the Great Southern landscape opening beyond the canopy. The two-hour Grand Course sends you through 59 obstacles across four elevated levels: balance bridges, swinging logs, multiple ziplines and a Tarzan swing that asks you to commit to the drop.

Kuitpo Forest was developed as part of South Australia’s forestry program in the 20th century and has since become a multi-use site for timber, recreation and wildlife habitat.
The forest is a managed plantation; stick to platforms and marked trails to protect understory and nesting birds, and follow leave-no-trace practices.
TreeClimb operates guided outdoor trips and adventures with an emphasis on safety, stewardship, and memorable experiences.
