Trips are guided by experienced river guides and safety gear is provided, but Class IV–V rapids are challenging — a moderate fitness level and ability to follow guide commands are required.
Children who can swim and weigh at least 23 kg (50 lbs) and fit a Class 5 youth life jacket may join; guides may limit which rapids minors can run for safety.
