Zakopane is known as a Polish winter wonderland. Located 100 kilometers south of Krakow, just at the foothill of Poland’s highest mountains, Zakopane is the ultimate one-day tour destination for people who want to experience the beauty of the natural mountainous landscape. The town offers a perfect blend of outdoorsy fun, beautiful scenery and long-lasting traditions of Polish Highlanders’ rich culture. During the tour, you will see Zakopane’s main sights, admire the breathtaking panorama of the High Tatras from the best viewing point, familiarize yourself with the traditions of Gorals and try out the local cuisine, including the famous oscypek cheese made of salted sheep milk.
Thermal Pools in Chocholow Chocholowskie Therms is a magical place, right at the feet of the Tatras, only 15 kilometers away from Zakopane. Enjoy the stunning view of the high mountains while having a relaxing afternoon far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The pool complex includes over 30 swimming pools and barrels, hydromassage stands, a treatment zone with raw sulfur and iodized brine water, water geysers, a rapid river, climbing net. The water has a temperature of 32-36 ° C, so in outdoor pools you can relax even on cold days.
This tour starts in Krakow. You will be picked up in the morning by our English-speaking driver from your hotel or the designated meeting point (see FAQ section below). First, you will have a 2-hour guided tour in Zakopane. Then, you will have free time for shopping. Afterward, you will go to the thermal pools in Chocholow, where you will spend 3 hours. You will come back to Krakow in the evening. The entire tour will last 11 hours.
