Adventure tips

Pack swim essentialsBring swimwear and a quick-dry towel — Chochołowskie Termy provides pools and saunas but not always towels.

Timing for GubałówkaRide the funicular early in your visit to avoid afternoon queues and to get clearer views before low clouds form.

Footwear for town walkingWear sturdy, broken-in shoes — Krupówki and village lanes are cobbled and can be uneven, especially after rain.

Carry small cashBring some złoty for market stalls and cheese tastings where cards may not be accepted.

Recommended gear

Swimsuit & quick-dry towel: Required for the thermal baths and spa areas.
Comfortable walking shoes: Good traction for cobbled streets, village lanes and viewing areas.
Layered jacket (windproof): Even summer evenings can be cool at higher viewpoints; a wind layer helps.
Reusable water bottle: Stay hydrated during walking and transfers; refill after security checks.
