About This Adventure

About

Your Yosemite Giant Sequoia Tour begins on your outbound day with a pickup at your hotel, then heads east crossing through California’s fertile San Joaquin Valley and into the rocky Sierra Nevada mountains. See 170-year-old mining towns and learn the colorful history of the region.

Soon after entering Yosemite, you will experience the solitude of the Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias. You won’t doubt for a second that these are the largest living creatures on the planet. No picture does them justice but that should not keep you from trying!

In winter, when conditions on the Tuolumne Grove trail are snow covered or unsafe, we substitute this experience with other attractions.

Your heart (and cameras) will be racing as you enter Yosemite Valley and enjoy a stop at Inspiration Point (also known as Tunnel View). Take a few moments for fantastic photos with El Capitan, Half Dome and Bridalveil Falls as your backdrop.

Your free and unguided time begins after checking into the View Lodge. The Yosemite View Lodge provides family-friendly hotel accommodations so near the entrance to Yosemite National Park you'll just be steps away. All rooms are beautifully appointed and amenity-rich, providing travelers with the perfect setting for a romantic getaway, family vacation or group retreat.

Most of the rooms at Yosemite View Lodge are set along a spectacular stretch of the Merced River, featuring dramatic views from balconies and outdoor spas. These family-friendly hotel accommodations near Yosemite National Park are perfect for couples as well as families, offering a nice combination of space, beauty, views and amenities
