FAQ

Q. Can one person show up to rent watercraft and then take it to others at the beach? A. No. All people in the rental party at least 18 years old must be present to sign a waiver as well as the parent or legal guardian of ALL minors under 18.

Q. Is there a security deposit that I'm required to pay? A. Yes, we do take a $1000 security deposit for boat rentals and $500 security deposit for jet skis. This is a pre-authorization of a credit card which will be held until the vessel is returned without damage, excepting normal wear and tear. We don't process the card, only an imprint is taken.

Q. How far can we take the watercraft? A. You are allowed to venture within approximately an 8 mile radius, ie. Michigan City to the west and Lakeside to the east.

Q. Can I rent a tube, water skis, or a wakeboard with the boat? A. Yes, tubes are $20-$60, skis are $25, and the wakeboard is $30. This can be arranged at the time of pick-up.

Q. Are tubes or skis allowed with the jet ski rentals? A. No, due to safety concerns, there is no towing allowed with jet ski rentals.

Adventure Tips

Book Early for Peak Times

Reserve your yacht cruise weeks in advance during summer and holidays to secure your preferred date and time.

Lake Michigan’s open waters reflect sunlight intensely, so sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses are a must.

Wear Comfortable, Non-Slip Shoes

Deck surfaces can be slippery, so choose footwear with good grip to ensure safety while moving around.
