About This Adventure

Embark on an unforgettable journey with the XDay Trip, exploring Sintra's enchanting landscapes, Guincho beach, and the charming town of Cascais. Led by a local driver, this intimate tour for just six guests offers unique insights into Portuguese culture, hidden gems, and the freedom to relax and savor the experience.

You will fall in love in Sintra, the scenic ocean road from Cabo da Roca, Guincho beach, Cascais and much more…

About

It all started with this. The first tour that We Hate Tourism Tours created… the XDay Trip takes you on a breathtaking journey where you will learn about Portuguese culture from the perspective of one of our “famous” local drivers. Never the same, the main purpose of this experience is to create the best scenery possible for your stay in Lisbon, while taking you for a day where we’ll get out of the city exploring the areas around, like Sintra, a Unesco World Heritage Site and its fairy-tale-setting. We'll take you to our favourite palace (not Pena Palace - you would spend the whole day there lining up with all the tourists and see nothing else), the awe-inspiring scenic road from the most western point of Continental Europe, Guincho beach and the town of Cascais. Like in a road movie, and to get the most out of the day, we will be always on the go, moving in crescendo, stopping at our favourite places and giving you the time to stroll, swim, grab a bite or relax with a glass of wine (or a bottle). Your choice :D

The unique style, creativity and sites that we like to keep as a surprise for those who come with us makes it perfect for first time visitors to our beautiful city, but also for repeat offenders looking for something more. Book now what has been called “the best tour in Portugal”! You’ll never want to be a tourist again.
