Experience hands-on training, personalized bow setup, and camaraderie around the campfire. With expert guidance from a seasoned archer, you'll gain confidence and knowledge in a supportive environment.
Interested in archery or maybe even bowhunting? Join Jess for a fun & immersive weekend clinic. This is for ladies new to archery or those looking to refine their skills. Bring your bow, or try out one of ours! Either way, we'll spend time getting you and your bow all set up for the weekend.
This fundamentals course will cover bow components, how to sight in your bow, 3D shooting/scoring, creating a shot process, and how to become a more efficient & consistent shooter. The goal is to leave women with confidence and knowledge about their equipment and capabilities.
The 2.5 day weekend course includes:
Friday afternoon will be arrivals, dinner, introductions, and bow set up. Saturday & Sunday will be training from 9am - 3pm with lunch provided. Then we'll have a bonfire and dinner Saturday evening. This will be a full immersion weekend, with training, practice, perfecting, stories, and always good laughs.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
With over a decade of experience, and several years of competitive archery, Jess has won many of her local and state competitions. She has distinguished herself in the SE Idaho archery community through her skill and determination, and consistently hosts ladies nights for anyone interested in the sport. She has successfully taken numerous animals with her archery equipment on public land, showcasing her proficiency and deep connection to the sport.
For the past three years, Jess has been committed to coaching other women in archery. Her coaching style emphasizes support, empowerment, and skill development, helping her students achieve their personal bests and fostering a vibrant community of female archers.
The outdoors is more than just a pastime for Jess—it’s an integral part of her life. She finds fulfillment in the woods, along with the challenging aspects of a hunt, and the satisfaction of a well-placed shot. Her experiences and adventures in nature continue to inspire and shape her approach to archery and life.
Jess is excited to share her knowledge, tips, and stories with others. Whether you’re a seasoned archer or just beginning your journey, she hopes to inspire and support you in discovering the beauty and thrill of the outdoors.

ABOUT THE RANCH Summit Ranch is the non-moto side of GRIT Moto Ranch, and epic facility nestled in the valley of Browns Canyon and overlooking the Wasatch front.
