This experience is the perfect example of how important it is to remember. For all of the young soldiers who gave their contribution during World War 2, who fought the tyranny, for our freedom. This private tour includes an illustrated personal guided tour of Anzio’s Landing, the Anzio War Cemetery (the American monumental cemetery or the English cemetery) and the Beachhead Cemetery, before going to the infamous Flyover at Campo di Carne, fighting scene in 1944.
On this tour you will get the chance to see and visit the Anzio War Museum and other important locations. Upon request you can visit Peter Beach and x-ray BEACH. In addition, walk through the trenches and paths of American and British soldiers.
Our memorial tour ends with the visit of the Sicily Rome American Cemetery which is located not far from the beaches of the landing right in the heart of Nettuno and commemorates the US soldiers fallen from the landing in Sicily on 9thJuly 1943 to the liberation of Rome on June 4th,1944.
