About

The “Wrangler Special” ride was conceived in response to an appetite from our guests to experience a longer, more technical ride through Joshua Tree National Park. Riders receive specialized live-time instruction from the wrangler to navigate more challenging terrain and to improve their horsemanship skills overall. While riding experience is preferred, athletic, intuitive guests are accepted as well. Your wrangler will take you on one of the most amazing trail rides offered in the National Park. The ride begins at the ranch and through a residential wash that leads to Black Rock Canyon. Border Trail wraps around the western boundary with winding and in some places steep terrain giving you spectacular views of the valley. On the backside, the trail joins with Scenic California Hiking and riding trail through slot canyons to arrive at Burnt Hill trail. The ride returns on short loop which gives you views of Mt Gorgonio and Big Bear.
