A cold, pine-scented wind moves through the trees as teams split behind hummocks and fallen trunks — the woodland seems to breathe, pushing you into cover and daring you forward. Paintball at Aberfeldy stages three hours of guided war games across a purpose-built wood course, where scrub, berms and narrow corridors shape tactics and quick decisions.

Moderate fitness: you should be comfortable walking, crouching and sprinting short distances over uneven ground.
The operator supplies a marker (paintball gun), safety mask/goggles, overalls, neck guards, gloves and 400 paintballs per person for the session.

Aberfeldy sits in Perthshire, an area shaped by glacial and riverine processes with Victorian-era land management that influenced today’s woodlands and access routes.
Operators typically use water-soluble paint and manage game areas to limit impact; follow staff guidance and pack out litter to protect the forest floor.
