Women's Fall 2026 Golf Clinics in Kitty Hawk: Two-Hour PGA-Led Sessions

Kitty Hawk, North Carolina — where Atlantic winds meet wide fairways — is the setting for Women's Fall 2026 Golf Clinics, a two-hour, small-group session designed to help new and improving players build confidence on the course. Hosted by Turf's Up OBX with Seascape's Golf Director, certified PGA instructor Dan O'Boyle, these fall clinics focus on fundamentals: grip, stance, swing mechanics, course etiquette, and a personal swing assessment that gives immediate, usable feedback. On the Outer Banks the challenge is never just the shot but the air: steady ocean breezes, sandy soil, and low coastal scrub shape how you think about ball flight. The clinic leans into those local conditions with practical drills that translate directly to play on coastal links-style holes. Instruction happens on practice tees and short-game areas where you can test grip changes and feel launch angles while the dunes and maritime pines sit in the background. Sessions are deliberately social and low-pressure. Small groups mean Dan can watch multiple swings and offer individualized cues — the kind that turn a frustrating hook into a repeatable draw. Clubs are available to borrow if you arrive without gear, and the clinic is set up to serve players of varied experience: total beginners leave understanding golf basics, while those with some time on the course refine setup and short game strategy. Why book this in Kitty Hawk? The region is an excellent classroom: firm lies, variable winds, and links-like green complexes accelerate learning and prepare you for both resort rounds and everyday 9-hole games. The clinic also plugs you into a welcoming local golf scene; Turf's Up OBX has a reputation for hands-on coaching and approachable programming, making it a comfortable next step for players who want to improve without intimidation. Practical details are straightforward: the clinic runs two hours, and organizers recommend arriving about 15 minutes early. Expect concise instruction, live swing feedback, and time practicing on the range and around the green. Bring comfortable shoes, sun protection, and a willingness to try adjustments — the rewards are quick: more confident tee shots, cleaner contact, and a clearer sense of course management. Whether you’re preparing for a vacation round or starting golf for the first time, these clinics offer an efficient, friendly jump-start. In a place shaped by sea breeze and open sky, learning to control ball flight is both practical and oddly liberating. Classes on Thursday dates — September 24, October 22, and November 19, 2026 — give multiple chances to attend; participants can sign up for one session or more. Note: if you consume beverages on site you must purchase them from the facility; soft drinks, beer, wine and THC/CBD options are available. Sign-up is online via Turf's Up OBX right now.
