Embark on a captivating guided tour of our conservation facility, where you'll encounter resident wolves and delve into their conservation. This unique experience, available Friday through Monday, offers insights into the history and importance of wolves in North America, making it a memorable adventure for all ages.

Available Friday through Monday at select times, you’ll receive an guided public tour of our two ambassador wolf packs. The tour covers topics including the history of wolves in California as well as the entirety of North America and the importance of wolf conservation.

Support wolf conservation efforts with an unforgettable experience where you'll have the opportunity to see critically endangered wild wolves and learn all about them from an expert at our Conservation Facility on KQ Ranch Rd. Children 4 and under are free for all public tours.

Transportation and Parking

Advance reservations are required before visiting our conservation facility. All visitors will need a vehicle to access our property. Sorry, we cannot accommodate drop offs, walk-up guests from K.Q. Ranch, or ride share services such as Uber or Lyft. Vehicles larger than 15 passenger vans please call ahead. We have ample parking in a dirt lot at our facility that is a short walk from our education center where the tour will begin.

What to Bring

  • Cameras and binoculars are welcome. Photographs may be taken through the habitat fences.
  • We sell bottled water, but we recommend bringing your own.
  • We experience extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Wear comfortable closed-toed walking shoes and bring sun protection.
  • Summer weather can be very hot and dry, and winter weather can be cold and wet.
  • Please check weather and road conditions before your visit.
