About This Adventure

Experience a magical journey on the Harrisburg, Lincoln & Lancaster Railroad, featuring a stunning replica of an 1868 steam locomotive. Enjoy breathtaking winter views, meet The Snow Princess and The Snow Queen, and explore the historic Millersburg Barn filled with steam train replicas and a beloved Snowman. A unique holiday adventure awaits!

** For kids and adults alike, board the Harrisburg, Lincoln & Lancaster Railroad for the newly completed train extension and switch train, a "one" of a kind. Featured is a replica of an 1868 steam locomotive, pulling replicas of an 1848 Pioneer Coach, a mid-1860’s Combine & Day Coach, and trestle extension.**

While enjoying the views of a winter wonderland, be greeted by a surprise special appearance by The Snow Princess and The Snow Queen themselves! After your ride, visit the historic Millersburg Barn for a trip back in time as you view steam train replicas and everyone's favorite Snowman!

The Winter Wonderland Train Excursion is not wheelchair accessible.

  • A narrated train ride through Stone Gables Estate
  • A stop in our engine house, fully decorated as an animated Santa's workshop for the Christmas season
  • A visit from the Snow Queen and The Snow Princess
  • A visit with everyone's favorite Snowman!
  • Beautiful photo ops with the train

Address and Directions to the Train:

Enter at Brittany's Hope: 1160 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. (Please type the physical address listed above into your GPS.)

Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes before your train departure time.

Once you arrive, watch for signage to direct you to park. Walk to the train platform. Please check in with the Guest Services Attendant giving the first and last name of the person who booked the tickets.


Duration

  • Allow 20-25 minutes for the train ride.
  • Allow at least 30-45 minutes for your total experience to visit all of the barns.

Parking & Comfort Facilities:

Parking is available near the train site. Mobile restroom facilities are available near the train platform.


Attire

Dress comfortably and weather appropriate as there can be some walking. Strollers are welcome to the estate but cannot board the train.

To find out if we have cancelled any train rides due to inclement weather, keep a close eye on your email, check our social media, and/or please call 717-902-9791. Related refunds will be issued within 7-10 days.
