Yosemite National Park is absolutely spectacular in autumn, winter, and early spring, and with private, knowledgable Echo member guides taking care of all the details, you won't need to worry about winter driving or seasonal closures! Take advantage an affordable, crowd-free Yosemite and enjoy fuller waterfalls, excellent snowshoeing and shorter lines!

Itinerary

Day 1 10 pm - 7 pm We'll pick you up from the Bay Area, Sacramento or Fresno Area and have lunch before heading to Yosemite for a 2 miles snowshoe adventure into the Giant Sequoias! Afterward, we'll head back to the Echo Adventure's Yosemite Basecamp!

Day 2 8 am - 5 pm We'll pick you up after your light hiker's breakfast at 8 am for a full day of snowshoeing or hiking in the famed Yosemite Valley. Choose between our beginner snowshoe around Mirror Lake or enjoy an adventurous snowshoe up to Vernal Falls! In addition to your custom trail lunch, we’ll treat you to hot chocolate breaks along the trail!

Day 3 8 am - 5 pm This amazing trip ends with a day in Hetch Hetchy Valley! We'll pick you up at 8 am, after your light hiker's breakfast, and help with luggage before heading back into Yosemite National Park for a 5-mile round trip hike along the granite Hetch Hetchy Reservoir to the thundering, 1200 foot Wapama Falls! We'll enjoy our custom trail lunch before the leisure hike back and a scenic drive to the city!

About the Accommodations

We are proud to introduce you to Echo Adventure Cooperative's Yosemite Basecamp located in downtown Groveland, on the doorstep of Yosemite National Park. The Echo Adventure Loft and the Bunkhouse are full-service accommodation that boasts adventure basecamp essentials like a boot dryer, soaking tub, essential oil diffuser and a light hiker's breakfast of coffee, tea, granola, fruit and more! They can accommodate 4 and 6 visitors and features showers or soaking tubs away from the toilet and vanity for the ultimate post-adventure relaxation and recovery,

They also include high tech amenities like Alexa, wireless and USB charging docks, a 42-inch smart television, smart door locks, and a work nook with USB connections, high-ish speed Wifi and access to a Bluetooth printing during business hours. Our Basecamp also features a Tesla charging station just outside your room!

Echo Adventure's Yosemite Basecamp was originally built over 100 years ago as the Casseretto Family stables, and the members of our socially and environmentally sustainable cooperative carefully crafted the Adventure Loft to be a clean and comfortable homage to these historical roots. Many of our furnishings were recovered from the original Groveland Hotel, bringing our obsession with Groveland's fascinating history right into the visitor experience! In addition to the Bunkhouse and Adventure Loft, our Yosemite Basecamp features an Outfitter with a specialty fly shop along with new and used gear and clothing for pets, kids and adults. The Basecamp is within walking distance of the best eateries, taverns, and shops that Groveland has to offer.
