Day1- Arrival to the camp:
On the first day we will pick you up from Kiruna Airport or at your hotel in town. The drive to Moskojärvi takes about 1 hour. From our parking lot we will continue by snowmobile for about 3km before we reach the camp.
Over a hot cup of coffee, which we cook on the open fire, you will get acquainted with each other and with the guide. He gives you all the information about the upcoming adventures and is happy to answer any questions you night have. After everyone is equipped and our lovely dogs are greeted, your guide will give you instructions on how to harness a dog, attach to the gangline and how to drive a dogsled. Once all the dogs are harnessed and ready to go, you will be off on your first introductory and exploratory tour. During this you can familiarize yourself with the dogs, the sled and the equipment.
Once you get back at the camp you will have dinner soon. We will spend the evening together and with the cuddly dogs and soon after go to be to recover from many impressions.
Day 2- Through the wintering grounds of the moose
The day begins with an extensive breakfast. Afterwards you are welcome to watch and also help feeding the dogs. On this day we will drive an impressive tour through the forests, snow covered tundra and over the frozen rivers and lakes. The area is beautiful and is wintering ground for moose. So there is a good chance to meet the king of the forest and other wildlife in person. We will have dinner and overnight stay in two rivers camp.
Day 3- Another wonderful tour through the forest, across the vast tundra and frozen lakes
As always, in the morning we have our breakfast, followed by the feeding of the dogs. Afterwards we pack our things and go on the trail again. Back at the camp we enjoy a tasty dinner and let the evening fade away. You will spend the night either in one of the comfortable rooms or on request and for an extra charge in one of the two Aurora huts for 2 people. And the sauna is heated and ready.
Day 4- Slowly back to civilization
Today is already the last day of our Arctic adventure. Like all previous ones, it starts with feeding the dogs and a delicious breakfast for us humans. After that its time to head back to civilization. For this, we enjoy a nice ride on the snowmobile back to the parking lot. From there we take the minibus back to the city of Kiruna or the airport.
